 Khalil T's First Blog/ Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Khalil. I wanted to introduce myself and give you a more in depth description in regards to me and my goals and aspirations.

Where are you from and where are you at now?

I am originally from Ocala, Florida but I grew up and currently reside in Tampa, Florida.

Major?

I was pretty much undecided until I graduated from HCC with my associates degree. Once I transferred to USF and explored the majority of the options, I decided to pursue a major in information science with a concentration in web development. 

3-5 Interesting facts/ Tid bits about you?

I love to travel. I've been to the Bahammas, New York City, Georgia, Texas, North and South Carolina, and pretty much everywhere in Florida.

I enjoy listening and making music. I honestly don't have a favorite genre of music, I like to keep an open mind. However, I am very passionate about making music. I have been making music for over 5+ years, and I enjoy making House, Trap/ Hip Hop, NYC/ UK Drill, and Dance Hall music. 

I love eating. I grew up in a carribean household so I had a lot of signature dishes that I enjoy still to this day. I am always open to trying new foods, which is why I would like to travel more often so I can experience different cultures and foods.

I am a huge fan of astronomy. I used to love looking at the stars at night and seeing constellations that have been documented by NASA. I was always curious about how the universe came about, and how we even came about as well.

Professional Experience(s)?

I have work experience in fast food and retail. I also had quite a bit of community service in: libraries, animal shelters, and community/ school activites. 

Favorite Social Media? 

I don't have a favorite social platform due to the fact that I like to use different platforms for different reasons. However, if I was to choose one it'd be Instagram. I chose Instagram because, it's sleek/ simple to use and there are alot of neat features on there for people with businesses and recreational users.

Is this your first time creating a blog?

Yes this is my first time creating a blog, I was a little caught off guard since I really don't interact/ talk about personal things online but it seems pretty cool so far.

What is your experience with using (reading) blogs?

I personally don't read blogs, but when I did in the past , it would normally be about things that I was interested in such as: food, traveling, video games and sports.

What do you like or dislike about blogs?

I dont have any dislikes about blogs, however, I do like the fact that it grants literally anyone to have the opportunity to speak their truth or opinion about whatever they're talking about.
